What an awesome trip huge snapper. My person best was 26 lbs 74 miles out of Cedar Key Florida. How deep were you fishing for the snapper and vermillion snapper? We went yesterday out of steinhatchee and got skunked on red snapper in like 90 ft showing good fish sign but no big snapper only 1 like 21 inches

@@BenHiltonHeadIslandLife that’s correct. I would definitely consider that alittle overkill for snapper but I can’t stand losing big fish due to not having the gear to pull them out of structure.

@@staceyboone4100 thanks! You can either try and catch bait at the rigs or ships in sabiki rigs or find a natural bottom spot and drop small pieces of squid or fishbites with small hollow and catch them
